Adding OnStar Vehicle Diagnostics To Your Address Book

To make sure that you receive important information about your vehicle, please add vehiclediagnostics@onstar.com to your address book or safe list.

Adding vehiclediagnostics@onstar.com to your address book:

Click the Mail menu and select Address Book.
When the Address Book window pops up, click Add.
Cut and paste vehiclediagnostics@onstar.com into the Other E-Mail field.
Make this the Primary E-Mail address by checking the corresponding check box.
Click Save.

Adding vehiclediagnostics@onstar.com to your address book:

Open the email.
Click Add Address.
Verify the sender's contact information.
Click Save.

Adding vehiclediagnostics@onstar.com to your address book:

Open your OnStar Vehicle Diagnostics Email.
Right-click the email address.
Select Add To Address Book from the menu.
Verify the email address.
Click Save.

Adding vehiclediagnostics@onstar.com to your address book:

Open your mailbox. Then, click on Address Book.
Once the Address Book opens, click Add.
On the Add Contact screen, find the Internet Information box.
Enter vehiclediagnostics@onstar.com into the top email box.
Click Save.

Adding vehiclediagnostics@onstar.com to your address book:

Click Contacts on the left side of any Gmail page.
Click Add Contact.
Copy and paste vehiclediagnostics@onstar.com into the primary email address box.
Click Save.

Adding vehiclediagnostics@onstar.com to your safe list:

Open your mailbox and click Options.
Click Junk E-Mail Protection.
Click on the Safe List link.
Copy and paste vehiclediagnostics@onstar.com into the box entitled "Type an address or domain".
Click Add.

Adding vehiclediagnostics@onstar.com to your address book:

Open your OnStar Vehicle Diagnostics Email.
Ctrl-click vehiclediagnostics@onstar.com.
Select Open in your Address Book.
Verify the email address.
Click Save.

Adding vehiclediagnostics@onstar.com to your address book:

On the Tools menu, click Options.
On the Preferences tab, click Junk E-mail.
On the Safe Senders tab, click Add.
In the "Add address" section, copy and paste vehiclediagnostics@onstar.com.
Click OK.

Adding vehiclediagnostics@onstar.com to your address book:

Open your OnStar Vehicle Diagnostics Email.
Left-click vehiclediagnostics@onstar.com.
Click Add to Contacts.
Click Save and close.

Adding vehiclediagnostics@onstar.com to your safe list:

Go to your Verizon Inbox.
Click Options.
Select the Block Senders tab.
On the Block Senders screen, you'll see a "Block Sender List" and a "Safe List". Where it says, "Always accept from this e-mail address or sub domain even if the domain is blocked," enter vehiclediagnostics@onstar.com.
Click Save.

Adding vehiclediagnostics@onstar.com to your safe list:

Open your Yahoo! mailbox and click on Mail Options.
Click Filters.
Then, click Add Filter.
In the top row, labeled "From header," select "contains" from the pull-down menu.
Click in the text box next to the menu and enter "vehiclediagnostics@onstar.com".
At the bottom, after clicking on "Move the message to", select "Inbox" from the pull down menu.
Click Add Filter again.

If you use a Web mail system or email application not listed above, access that program's "Help" files, instruction manual, or customer support section to add us to your list of approved email senders. In most cases, adding vehiclediagnostics@onstar.com to your address book should be enough.
