KEY CHANGES TO YOUR ONSTAR® TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Effective as of July 2007

OnStar service is provided to you subject to the OnStar Terms and Conditions (terms), some of which have changed. Some key changes are described below. Please see the full terms for a more complete understanding of all changes. The terms are available online at www.onstar.com, by contacting OnStar at 1.888.4.ONSTAR (1.888.466.7827), or by pressing your blue OnStar button.

EMAIL NOTICE: WE MAY SEND YOU ANY NOTICE REQUIRED FROM US BY EMAIL AT AN EMAIL ADDRESS YOU HAVE PROVIDED.

DURATION, CANCELLATION AND PAYMENT: Your contract will continue without requiring renewal. You can still cancel your service at any time. We may cancel your service for any reason and without cause with 30 days notice but we'll refund certain amounts as set out in the terms. You may need to inform us as to how you wish to pay for your service or whether you wish to choose another payment period offered by us. As before if you have a credit or debit card account or similar payment account on file with us, we'll automatically charge it monthly.

SERVICE LIMITS: We can place usage limits or create tiered pricing plans for any OnStar service and charge you at our then current rates for your usage in excess of the limit or tiered plan amount. We will notify you in advance of any new limit or increased pricing.

CONTACTING EMERGENCY SERVICE PROVIDERS: The laws in some places require an emergency to be confirmed before emergency service providers will provide service. We will not contact them in these locations in response to an emergency button press if we cannot hear your request for assistance or confirm that an emergency exists (unless you told us that you are deaf or hard of hearing). We may not contact them in any location in response to emergency button presses from rental cars, cars in motion, and cars located in locations such as car dealerships, rental car companies, car washes or your address if we cannot hear your request. We will assume an emergency exists if we receive a crash notification signal from your Car.

ADDITIONAL SYSTEMS LIMITATIONS: The OnStar crash notification system works differently in different cars. In the event of a crash, in some cars, the car will send the OnStar call center a crash notification only if the car's airbags deploy. In other cars, a crash notification signal will be sent even if the airbags do not deploy if the car has Automatic Crash Response technology and certain sensors in the car are triggered.

Problems we can't control may prevent us from providing OnStar service, or may impair its quality. We are not responsible for any delay or failure in performance that could not have been prevented by reasonable precautions, nor if such failure or delay is caused by acts of nature, or are beyond our reasonable control. Please see examples in the amended terms.

Where you are driving may affect the service that we can provide to you. Routing data that we provide to you is based on the most current map information available to us, but may be inaccurate or incomplete. You should use good judgment, obey laws and instructions and evaluate whether following the system's directions is safe and legal for the current conditions.

ADDITIONAL SOFTWARE PROVISIONS: You do not own the OnStar software or have rights to use or modify it on your own. Your Car systems involve software that your Car maker may need to change. You agree that we may assist them to do this remotely without your consent.

ADDITIONAL PRIVACY PROVISIONS: We may use information we collect about you or your car to communicate with you about your account; provide information to the maker of your Car about aggregate product usage; confirm your eligibility in car insurance discount programs you've applied for; and provide you with information about the maintenance needs of your Car by emailing you your OnStar Vehicle Diagnostic service (OVD) report. If you enroll in OVD, we collect information from your Car on a periodic basis.

We can share your email address with the maker of your Car and its subsidiaries and affiliates; and share your subscription status with companies with whom we have business relationships to determine eligibility in discount programs you've requested from those companies.

We may provide you with messages about your OnStar service through the OnStar system in your Car.
