Mobile Phone Law Passed

On April 22, 2009, Ontario passed legislation prohibiting the use of hand-held mobile phones while driving. With the exception of Ontario where enforcement is anticipated as early as fall 2009, the provinces of Quebec, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland & Labrador all restrict the use of hand-held calling mobile phones while driving. Check with your provincial law for the restrictions, if any, in your province.
