What cellular network does OnStar rely on for coverage?

I used to be able to receive OnStar service in my area and am now unable to connect. Why is this?

OnStar relies on our wireless service provider partnerships and their cellular networks to provide coverage to our customers. When wireless service providers make adjustments to their networks, some vehicles and areas may be impacted by a loss of service, while others may benefit from expanded service.

What factors can impact my coverage?

There are network limitations, including lack of coverage due to zoning issues with cellular towers, network interference, area population, and gaps in network coverage. There are also external factors, such as vehicle enclosures like parking structures or garages, construction, foliage, terrain, and building obstructions.
