This “Texting Policy” applies to your use of OnStar text message programs (collectively "Texting Services") provided by OnStar (in the United States, OnStar, LLC; in Canada, General Motors of Canada Company) (“us”, “our” and “we”), and together with any other terms and conditions that apply, constitutes a legally binding agreement between you and us. By using Texting Services, you agree to this Texting Policy.
TO OPT-IN TO RECEIVE ONSTAR PROMOTIONAL TEXT MESSAGES. You may receive promotional text message offers by consenting online or texting “IN”, “Y”, or “Yes” to 667827 to opt-in. By texting 667827 from your mobile number, you authorize us or those acting on our behalf to send marketing text messages using an automatic telephone dialing system to your mobile telephone number provided to us. This is not required as a condition to conduct business with us.
When you opt-in by texting “IN”, “Y”, or “Yes” to 667827, you are also confirming that you are able to receive and review this Texting Policy and print or electronically retain a copy for your records. If you are not the primary account holder for the mobile telephone that you are using to enroll for Texting Services, you confirm that you are authorized to, and do, consent on behalf of the account holder to receive messages.
TO OPT-IN TO RECEIVE THEFT ALERT TEXT MESSAGES IN THE UNITED STATES. You may receive vehicle theft and other related text message alerts, by consenting online or texting “IN”, “Y”, or “Yes” to 66041 to opt-in. By texting 66041 from your mobile number, you authorize us or those acting on our behalf to send non-marketing text messages using an automatic telephone dialing system to your mobile telephone number provided to us. This is not required as a condition to conduct business with us.
When you opt-in by texting “IN”, “Y”, or “Yes” to 66041, you are also confirming that you are able to receive and review this Texting Policy and print or electronically retain a copy for your records. You may receive data usage, electric vehicle charge and other related text message alerts, by consenting online or texting “IN”, “Y”, or “Yes” to 47268 to opt-in. By texting 47268 from your mobile number, you authorize us or those acting on our behalf to send non-marketing text messages using an automatic telephone dialing system to your mobile telephone number provided to us. This is not required as a condition to conduct business with us.
When you opt-in by texting “IN”, “Y”, or “Yes” to 47268, you are also confirming that you are able to receive and review this Texting Policy and print or electronically retain a copy for your records. CHANGES TO SHORT CODES. We reserve the right to change and consolidate associated short codes. If you do not agree to receive text messages from new short codes, your sole remedy is to opt out.
