And sure, using your smartphone to warm up your vehicle on a cold winter morning can’t be beat. But there’s a lot more your vehicle mobile app can do to help make your life easier, especially when you have select paid OnStar and Connected Services plans. Here are three ways it can help save your day.  

Stay connected when you need it most

If you have a flat tire or need a tow, you can use your vehicle’s app to get roadside help. It’s an easy way to request Roadside Assistance* — and it could come in handy should you have a battery issue and need to jump start your vehicle.

Check your vehicle status

Your vehicle mobile app can help you keep on top of your vehicle’s health. If you have the Remote Access Plan,* you can get updates on your oil life, tire pressure (if properly equipped) and fuel level. It can also give you a heads up if your vehicle needs an oil change or is due for another service, and lets you schedule the appointment with your preferred Dealer without ever having to make a call.

Find your vehicle 

Forget where you parked? Your vehicle mobile app can help. If you have the Remote Access or Unlimited Access Plan,* you can use Vehicle Locate* to pinpoint your vehicle’s approximate location on a map* with the touch of a button. You can also set arrival/departure notifications and boundary alerts for your vehicle.
